This I must admit . . Though I don't like to go shopping outside , I love to do online shopping especially stuffs for my kids . Guess what , recently I spent $300 just online and it's shopping for their stuffs and some of mine !!! I just can't believe my eyes when I totalled up the sums . Better zip up my mouth and not let mr hubby knows about it if not he will nag and say I waste money again !<br /><br />Some updates on my little Clarence , we went for a check up for jaundice again , took some blood and did some testing , this time round his jaundice level went down . First time , his jaundice level was 9.7 when he was first discharged from hospital , second time was a week later , the level rose to 13+ , subsequently , we went again on tuesday , it went down to 10.3 . Nurse was saying to monitor and if he is still yellowish just come back for the blood test and see if the jaundice level increase .<br /><br />Recently , yang yang kept crying and seems like he is pretty much disturbed . He can't sleep well and tends to wake up . Once he wakes up , he will always yearn for someone to carry and cradle him till he sleep again . However , you will need to wait for him to really fall into deep sleep , then you can put him on the bed , otherwise , he will wake up few minutes later and cry again . . so you have to repeat the whole act again . .<br /><br />Hubby strike toto with the number 9 , 30 cause he bought 9 , 30 and 31 . These 3 numbers are yang yang birth weight and birth date . . Hubby also strike 4d . . 1109 as starter , this is yang yang birth cert number !! Alamak , both I also never buy ! I'm so unlucky . Those that I buy , yang yang don't give me the luck to win some money , instead he let his dad win . . hmmm . .<br /><br />Hmmm , really hope that mr hubby can buy me a coach bag as a gift for delivering yang yang but seems like it's hard and anyway don't think he will buy one for me since he is so stingy ! Hmmm . Hope I can win some toto / 4d so that I can buy something good for myself to treat myself !<br /><br />Enough of the update . . My last confinement was bad , I didn't nurse my health back at all . I'm been feeling weak and sick and having very bad ache at the back . This time round I told myself , I want to nurse my health back and my mum will help me with that . Somemore after giving birth , I realised I tend to be more emotional . I really hope that you are mostly by my side yet you tell me how can you be by my side longer cause IT'S BORING TO STAY AT MY HOUSE ! IT'S ALREADY VERY GOOD THAT YOU VISIT ME EVERYDAY ! What the FXXK is it ? Other people hubby stayed overnight and accompanied their wife for the whole confinement and helped to take care of the baby, while others though they never stayed overnight every day , they stayed overnight through the weekends to accompany and help their wife ! Compared to you , what have you done ? I went through so much suffering and pains to dleiver this baby and yet this is what you say . THIS IS NOT APPRECIATIVE AT ALL . Today went back to pd for a check up for jaundice . His jaundice level shoot up but still moderate so that's why he do not have to admit to hospital . That's great !<br/><br/>These 1 week was a tough time for me as I have insufficient rest and sleep , well yang yang kept waking up and stayed very alert at 4am ! He will be awake until 7am ! Omg ! I had to babysit him until he sleep . Then after which I can't get back to sleep anymore ! So disturbed !<br/><br/>Just now had a quarrel with hubby . I cried . He was so irritated that I cried ! I mean u just dun understand ! I just can't control my emotions , I failed to hold back my tears . I'm so upset and disappointed ! I'm so depressed now ! But he just failed to realized and understand , he is just so irritated by me crying !<br/><br/>All I want is him accompanying me more at my house but he just gave me the feeling that he hates to stay at my house . Other people hubby stayed overnight accompanying their wife while their wife did their confinement at their mums house . But my hubby , he just give me a strong feeling he hates to stay at my house cause to him it's just plain boring so he rather sleep in at his house till it's quite late in the evening then come over and stayed for 1 hour plus .<br/><br/>I mean what is this ? I'm already very tired after 9 months of pregnancy . During the whole pregnancy , I suffered so much , from every time vomit till face green green to keep on having bad cramps and pains till birth . I wanted love , care from him , I want him to sayang me , I want him to appreciate my efforts for delivering the baby , I want him to tell me thanks baobei for your hard work , thanks for giving me such a pretty baby ! In the end , I get nothing ! Nothing at all ! No encouragement , no appreciation , no care and love ! I was deprived of all that ! I see other people hubby dote on their wife so much when they are pregnant and even more love them after the wife delivers . Now the very least I want is companionship and I had nothing ! Pd says the patch will never grow hair and if we do nothing about it , 30 years down the road , he might have skin cancer . Scary ! I freaked out upon hearing that and I keep wondering what have I done wrong . The solution the pd gave was to do a cosmetic surgery to remove the mole when he's 2 years old . Felt a bit upset but glad that this is not something life threatening . Hope everything will be fine ! The Emma is so powerful , I went toilet in like 2 mins to clear my bowels .<br/><br/>Time check at 7.05am . Went up to operating theatre , waited for 21 mins and doc Chen is here . Was pushed into theatre 2 . Fall asleep at 7.40am . At 8.38am , I woke up , was a little blur and tired . But still alright . Came back to ward and hubby showed me Le yang pic . Firstly , Monday , I did my well deserved pre natal massage to get rid of all my pains and aches . My good friend casslyn came by and visited me . We went amk hub to eat ichiban sushi with xin'er too . At night , hubby brought me to eat tepanyaki ! Wow ! At night around 11plus , I went to Maggie house and mj 4 rounds till 8plus . I won $120 .<br/><br/>Tuesday was "Qing ming" . Went to pray to father in law and after which went to eat some good chicken rice and sleep in the whole day till Wednesday .<br/><br/>Wednesday was mummy off day . Met her at amk station at 12.30pm and went to Chinatown to eat our favorite "Zhao ji" claypot rice ! I eat until I was so full and after which I stayed in at mummy house . We on the aircon and enjoyed the coolness till 5 plus . Around 6 plus I ordered pizza hut for the whole family . After pizza , we had durian ! Yummy !!!! It's not very expensive and it's small and light . Furthermore , it's white !!! Though the black looks nice too but I think a lady suit a white colour phone more . It has a internal storage of 2gb and comes with a additional 1gb memory card for storage purposes . It also has a 5 megapixels camera with flash light . Best of all , the sound is good and loud ! He always think he is right about everything due to his experiences just because he is around 60+. F**k him ! He only knows how to find ways to ask his guards to leave the company once they are sick , he will not bother how many years have you work your ass off the company . Oh ya , he will not even ask the company to pay for your hospital bills apart from those miserable little bit of hospitalisation claims from the insurance company , those balance portion of the bill he will just let your family to cough it out . Anyway , I am a strong believer of retribution , god is very fair . I am not trying to curse him but I believe whatever you did to others , you will get a fair share back yourself one day . She is also famous for being picky , like to shout at the top of her voice over some little tinnie weenie stuff ! Once you are in her hate list , please do not expect to have a good life or should I rephrase it , alright do not expect to have any good working day at all . The whole pregnancy is really like a roller coaster ride , ups and downs . We had our fair share of happiness and unhappiness . The first trimster , I kept bleeding and we were so worried that I might miscarry . Chancing into the second trimster , I was slightly better then the transition into the third trimster , the last few weeks was bad cause Xin'er head was pressing on my nerves that makes me unable to walk much . I didn't know that walking can be painful at all until that time . Then there came 11 Dec , finally my little precious darling is born . She is my beautiful little girl ! It's during these times that I had some closer friends like Maggie , Beverly , Joelene , Patricia , Cassandra , Sharyn , Chak Yong , Norman and etc . . Yippie !! During 38+ weeks of gestation , at Doc Chen's clinic , I weigh 69kg ! When I was admitted to the hospital , before I deliver , I was told no food / drink after 2am , the nurses weigh me , I was 67kg . After birth , when I was able to get down from my bed , no matter how painful my wound was , I immediately went to the weighing machine and weigh myself , good gracious , I was 64kg ! Wow ! During then , I couldn't believe it at all , the whole world seems to tumble on me . I couldn't accept the fact ! I mean the calculations are just not right . Baby is 3kg . Water inside + Placenta is maybe 1kg . How can I still be 64kg ! Argh !!! But now , upon knowing I'm 61kg , I felt so much better . I'm going to lose more weight and I will work hard on it ! 54kg ! Here I come ! If I can reach 50kg , even better ! Meanwhile , I try to set 54kg as my target first ! Recently , she cried a lot and sometimes it's like non-stop and also she kept wanting someone to carry her in the lap until she is really really sound asleep . Apart from that , the hours that she is awake is getting longer and longer . At times , she can be awake for 6 hours . . Oh my !! We , being very new to parenthood , know nuts what's going on until we suspect something fishy , I called my mum and was told to put my hand on her tummy and tap a few times . It was affirmed that she had a bloated tummy ! We immediately applied the baby oil (Lu Yi You) on her little tummy and wrapped her tummy up to keep her warm . Soon , she was sleeping soundly ! She don't wake up in the middle of night like every half an hour / an hour . The most till now so far , she wake up every four hours for her food supply . Though she cry very loudly when we changed her soiled diapers and clothes , but the rest of the time , she don't cry a lot . That all makes me feel she is good so far . .</strong></span></div><div><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;"><strong></strong></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;"><strong>Now , comparing the days when I'm still single / pregnant , I gained some , I lost some . I gained kinship , bond and love for my little girl , a kind of feeling that can't be describe . It's just love for her and I know I do anything to protect her . Other that that , I lost my sleep and my freedom . Now , I treasured my sleep very much , I will always nap as much as I can , otherwise before I know it , the next moment she is up and hunting for her milk ! Now , I really look more and more like a panda . I must do some good facial after my confinement , I swear ! I am no longer as free as before cause I got a responsibility to look after and take good care of my little precious . When we reached there , we went to the admission office and the nurse there patiently helped us to do all the necessary procedures and paperworks for my admission and explained the charges to us as well . </span></strong><br /><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;">Of course not forgetting , the deposit that was collected .</span></strong><br /><br /><div align="left"></div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;"></span></strong></div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;">For my package , I took the double bedded room for 3 days stay . My operations is the c-section with GA . Alright , no problem , I shall explain what is GA . As simple as ABC , it's just simply means full body c-section , means you will not be awake during the whole operation . There is another type of c-section , which is the c-section with epidural . This means it's the half body c-section , which means you will be awake during the whole operations just that the lower part of your body will not have any feelings at all .</span></strong></div><div align="left"></div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;"></span></strong></div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;"></span></strong> </div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;">Anyway , a side note , epidural is also used in the natural labour . It depends on if the mummy needs the epidural or not . I heard from some , they says it's painful when they inject it into the back , however I also heard from some , they say epidural is so good that they felt that this was the best invention ever in pregnancy and child care industry !!! Well , I didn't try any before , therefore I shall not comment much on this . Take your time to read up before going into labour !</span></strong></div><div align="left"></div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;"></span></strong></div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;"></span></strong> </div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;">Alright back to me , I was admitted into the ward where in a while time , nurses start to prepare me by asking me to wear the clothes that is meant to be worn in the operating theatre and asked heaps of questions but it is due to the fact that this is part of their admission procedures . Questions like what drug are you allergy to , how many kids do you have before , are you having any jewellery on you now and etc .</span></strong></div><div align="left"></div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;"></span></strong></div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;"></span></strong> </div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;">After all the questioning is done , it was around 6.50am . I tooked some pictures and 7.15am , some guy asked me to hop on the the operating theatre bed and ferry me up to the fourth floor where the operating theatre is . Hubby was asked to wait in the waiting area while they continue to wheel me into the theatre . In the theatre , another series of questions was asked again . Then 5 mins later , they started to wheel me into the operating room .</span></strong></div><div align="left"></div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;"></span></strong></div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;"></span></strong> </div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;">Half way before they manage to wheel me into the operating room , some nurse asked if I'm Doc Chen LH patient and said that Doc Chen's operation only start at 8am and it's just too early to ferry me inside and let me shiver in the ice-cold operating room !!</span></strong></div><div align="left"><br /></div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;">It was a mistake and misunderstanding , they thought the operation was 7.30am . So I was in the waiting area . During then , Xin'er girl was inside my tummy moving here and there , I felt her , I talked to her and I teared . .</span></strong></div><div align="left"></div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;"></span></strong></div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;"></span></strong> </div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;">I knew this would be the very last time I feel her inside me , suddenly I really missed those feelings instead of the usual complaints . . I told her , in a while , mummy will be able to see you , hold you close and kiss you . . be a good girl !!</span></strong></div><div align="left"></div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;"></span></strong></div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;"></span></strong> </div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;">Alright , 7.40am , they start to ferry me inside again . I vividly saw operating theatre 5 . I shifted myself to the operating bed and the anesthetist start to poke the needle into the back of my palm . I was always terrified of this cause it can be d**n painful at times !!! However to my atonishment , this anesthetist is good , I hardly feel any pain at all . Around 7.48am , that was the last time I saw the clock , I saw Doc Chen . He was smiling and saying Hi Evelyn , how are you ? Everything is going as per planned .</span></strong></div><div align="left"><br /></div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;">Then the anesthetist start to put the anesthesia inside me and I was asked to breathe through a mask , they were saying it's oxygen . I did all that was required and soon , the big two operating threatre lights start to dim and I was asleep .</span></strong></div><div align="left"><br /></div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;">The next moment I wake up , I felt that my throat was very dry , I can't even swallow salivia . It's hard to swallow and it's painful and the feeling is terrible . My lips are very dry and they started to crack cause I can feel a tinge of blood when my tongue tried to moisturise my lips . .</span></strong></div><div align="left"></div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;"></span></strong></div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;"></span></strong> </div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;">They started to ask me what is my name and etc and once I answered them faintly cause the drug effect is still there , they ferried me out of the operating theatre , out to the waiting area . I saw my hubby . I looked at him , I'm so tired .</span></strong></div><div align="left"><br /></div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;">Back in the room , they shifted me from the operating bed to my ward's bed . D**n again ! When they shift me , they accidentally shaked me and my wound hurts real pain ! Argh ! I almost wanted to beat them , it's so F***ing painful ! I was on my drip and was told that I can't eat any food or take any drinks until later . I requested for a sip of water to moisture my throat and lips . They said it's alright with a sip at a time but not too much of water .</span></strong></div><div align="left"><br /></div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;">Anyway , I was so fatigue from the delivery that I don't have much appetite to eat anything at all . I was very fatigue that I could almost fall asleep at any instant any position . But I told my hubby that I wanted to see my little precious girl's picture . Hubby showed me his phone and I took a look at all the pictures .</span></strong></div><div align="left"><br /></div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;">My god , she's a beauty ! Or to me , she is beautiful ! Of course , she is my little girl !</span></strong></div><div align="left"><br /></div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;">She weighs at 3.1kg which is the normal weight for new born . She is 50cm tall ! Then hubby told me all the pictures are before nurses shower her and we can only see her when the nurses shower her and feed her already .</span></strong></div><div align="left"><br /></div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;">Even how tired I am , I kept myself fully awake just to wait for the nurse to ferry my girl to see me . Finally the wait is over , I saw her !!! I was bed-ridden so therefore I can't sit up properly to carry her . I can only feel her cheeks , my god ! It's so soft ! Guess the bird nest help !</span></strong></div><div align="left"><br /></div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;">I felt immersely touched and felt that God is really amazing . Look at this girl , she looked so big but yet she can fit into my little tummy just like that and stayed there for 9 months !</span></strong></div><div align="left"><br /></div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;">Awww . I just can't help touching my little girl and I so badly wanted to kiss her but I can't until when my mum was here , she carried Xin'er to me and that's when I hold her close to me and I kissed her .</span></strong></div><div align="left"><br /></div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;">Perhaps Xin'er knew it's was me , the usual voice , somehow I can felt a connection with her . She is comfy with me . Then I saw something which shocked me ! Her birth time was around 10 mins later when I last saw Doc Chen in the operating theatre ! Oh , so the c-section operation is so short !</span></strong></div><div align="left"><br /></div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;">Alright , so much pain for this little girl , now come to think of it . However , the check at Doc Hii's clinic , she only weighs 2.6 to 2.7kg . . hmmm . . such a big difference ya . .<br /><br />So let's guess how much she weighs tomorrow !! Well , nurses did ask me to go to Doc Chen replacement's gynae at Mount Elizabeth . However , we did not went there instead we went to the nearby gynae clinic at my house .</span></strong><br /><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;"></span></strong><br /><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;">The gynae did a scan for me and confirmed my baby is normal and it's just that my baby head is a bit higher than normal and she pressed on my nerves that is join my upper thigh and bottom . Anyway , doc gave me some medicine to ease the pain . After taking the medications , I went to sleep for a while and wake up feeling so much better . The pain is greatly reduced and I think Xin'er's head have shifted position . I'm so glad .</span></strong><br /><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;"></span></strong><br /><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;">Oh ya , I think pregant women are a little really emotional . I guess it's true cause when I was on my way home walking from the clinic which is like a stone thrown away from my house , the pain was so bad that it makes me cry so hard , cry so much that I told my hubby that pregnancy is such a pain in the ass . I feel tormented by pregnancy . Hmmm , well he gave me comfort and encouragement , telling me everything is gonna be alright . . Well that's the least and the only thing that he can do cause he can't alleviate my pain neither can he do anything to stop my torture . .</span></strong><br /><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;"></span></strong><br /><strong><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;">Well , now I'm up now and afresh , I felt that pregnancy is a beautiful thing . . They put me on CTG to ensure it's not contractions . Ya , it's not contractions though I have a mixed feelings of hoping it was and it was not . After a urine test , it's was certain that I'm having urine infection .</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; font-family: arial; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Argh . Again , urine infections . Yeah , pregnant woman are more prone to urine infections if we do not consume enough water and if we always try to control our urine . Yeah yeah . I'm a little guilty cause I know myself well that I might not have consume enough water .</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; font-family: arial; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Alright , I shall be a good mummy from now , I will dutifully drink 1.5 litres of water everyday to prevent myself to be in such situation again .</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; font-family: arial; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Well , Doc Chen did another ultrasound again on Xin'er . This time , oh my god !!! She grown so much . Just a week plus ago , just last tuesday , she only weighs 1.9kg . This week , ultrasound have shown she weighs 2.2kg !!! My god !! This time round , we went for our detailed scan . Doc Chen check if my water is enough and Xin'er girl's organs . They are all fine .</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; font-family: arial; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Doc Chen revealed to me that my placenta is considered low-lying . He explained that there are 4 stages to low-lying placenta and mine currently belongs to the stage 1 being the mildest . However , we will need to do another check again to see if mine is stage 1 / 2 cause it's only a line difference between these two stages .</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; font-family: arial; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">If I'm still in stage 1 , I can still opt for natural birth . However , if I belong to the stage 2 , I have no other options than to do a c-section .</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; font-family: arial; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Doc Chen explained what is a low-lying placenta . He said it's very dangerous for both mum and baby cause if I go for natural birth despite being in stage 2 , when I start to push , I might push the placenta out first before baby is out . Once placenta is out before baby is out , baby will lack of oxygen and food and baby will die inside the womb . Both hubby and myself acknowledged Doc Chen's explanation .</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; font-family: arial; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">After the visit , hubby asked me to do the c-section instead of natural birth , no doubt he really wanted me to give birth naturally rather than c-section . I think he wants to be involve in the process of seeing Xin'er girl coming into our world . I asked him why . He told me he don't want any risk of losing any one of us . That's high cause she is exercising . Doc Chen says it's a good sign . He likes active baby !! Went for the hospital tour at mount alvernia , booked our room for stay and understand quite a fair bit on the delivery suites and procedures so that my darling will not have any hipcups when I'm about to deliver . .</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; font-family: arial; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">I strike 4d today . It can be in the form of temptations to eat certain stuff , temptations to join a different company for better prospect , but the temptations that I am refering now is temptations to resist feeling for another person when you are already attached / married .<br /><br />Well , if you are still only attached , perhaps you still can keep your options open . Look hard into the other person and slowly observe to see if the other person might be a better alternatives . Hmmm . To me , that's not betrayal and it's just human nature that we make comparison and always want the better one for ourselves .<br /><br />Come to another part of it , if you are married . Ms. Temptations comes along and seduce you . What will you do ?<br /><br />Some can't resist temptations , they succumb to temptations . They betrayed their spouse which is relatively common in our era . Look at the divorce rate , you will have a better and clearer picture .<br /><br />I even have peers that simply can't resist temptations at all . Just like a cat , they just can't resist eating fish . Even they are married , if there is a woman that comes along very open-minded and wants a fling / one night stand , they quickly jump into it .<br /><br />I have a pal . He already proposed to his gf . But he still goes around having flings and one night stand . Boy , I pity the gf . .<br /><br />Worse , I have another pal who goes around having one night stand and flings outside when the wife is at home pregnant with his kid . Boy , he is a real b*****d . D**n him !<br /><br />I do have met Ms. Temptation . I almost fall prey to her trap .
